What is the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown 2019?  The Downtown festival is one of the top outdoor fine arts festivals in the nation. The two-day festival showcases the works of over 300 of the finest artists in the world. The outdoor event brings out more than 20,000 people into the heart of Downtown Houston offering visitors the opportunity to meet with exhibiting artists, and enjoy food and entertainment.

 

What type of event is Bayou City Art Festival?  It is a fun and interactive outdoor fine art festival for people of all ages.

Who may attend?  Everyone. This event is open to the general public.

When is the festival? 10am- 6pm Saturday & Sunday, October 12th & 13th, 2019.

Where is the festival located?  Downtown Houston surrounding City Hall, Hermann Square, Houston Public Library, Sam Houston Park, and adjacent streets. The address is 901 Bagby St., Houston, Texas 77002.

How do I get to the festival and where can I park?  The  most convenient  garage parking is available from 1100 Smith Garage, the official parking sponsor for Bayou  City Art Festival Downtown 2018. A $10 cash only flat rate is available to festival goers. There is plenty of parking near the festival: street level, privately owned surface lots, parking garages or underground parking is available downtown. Metered parking is also available. Check for rates at the meters.

What is the price of Admission?  Discounted tickets may be purchased online prior to the event and at Houston area Randall’s stores. General admission is $15 per adult and $5 per child (12 and Under). Children 5 and under are free. Family Passes and 2-Day Passes are also available. Military and Senior Discounted Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. (Please click here for online ticketing)

What is a volunteer?  Volunteering at the Bayou City Art Festival helps promote local and national artists, as well as local arts education programs. One of the perks of volunteering is that volunteers get to enter & enjoy the festival for FREE before and after their shift! Sign up and choose your jobs and shifts here.

Are there places to eat?  Yes, food trucks and a variety of other food and beverages vendors will be at the festival.

 

Are there ATMs available?  Yes, ATMs are conveniently located around the festival site.

What can I use my credit or debit card to purchase at the festival?  Credit or debit cards may be used to purchase festival admission tickets. You may also use a credit or debit card to purchase beverages and food (if accepted by independent food vendors).

I ordered my ticket online, how will I RECEIVE my ticket?  Online tickets are e-tickets. Check your email inbox for your Order Confirmation from Eventbrite. Your e-tickets will be attached to your order confirmation email. Make sure to print and bring them to the event or Go Green and download Eventbrite’s mobile app. For questions about accessing your tickets please contact Eventbrite Customer Service at 800-350-8850. No Refunds and No Exchanges on all purchases.Every ticket is good for one-day entry only to Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park 2019. (With the exception of Two-Day Passes)
